Why take this training course?
A crisis is not just a technical incident: it is a global event that affects systems, businesses and people.
The Crisis Recovery Plan (CRP) aims to structure the response in real time by coordinating strategic decisions, communication and the organisation of the recovery.
At Arkeion-Formation, we teach a practical approach to CRP, based on the Ransom-Kick method and integrated into the Arkeion Group ecosystem.
Training programme
The training is organised in three stages:
- Anticipation: understanding the limitations of BCP and DRP and defining the specific role of the CRP.
- Organisation: structuring the crisis unit, assigning roles and preparing management scenarios.
- Simulation: immersive exercises in which participants manage a recovery in a stressful situation.
Typical duration: two days in person or four half-days remotely.

- Introduction to the role of the CRP in the resilience chain
- The shortcomings of BCP/DRP in the face of complex crises
- Establishment and role of the crisis unit
- Definition of triggers and maximum switchover times
- Strategic management: trade-offs and internal/external communication
- Practical crisis management exercises and feedback
